Hi. I’m Graph.

I’m an editor and journalist based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I have more than 7 years’ experience in journalism, mostly as a fact-checker and copy editor. My reporting has been published in The Associated Press, POLITICO and SFGate.

As an editor, I specialize in newsletters and all-purpose digital production. I’ve served as the producer and editor for paywalled email newsletters with circulation in the hundreds of thousands. In a media market where everyone and their mother has a Substack, newsletters need to be punchy, clever and efficient in order to stand out. With an editor to back them up, the writers I work with can skip the stress and second-guessing and get back to doing good journalism.

I have primarily covered politics. I’m quite good at “de-jargoning” complicated government policy topics, both as an editor and a reporter. I also have a background in viral misinformation research, most recently as a fact-checker for social media platforms.

I’m a former contributor to the AP Stylebook’s entries on LGBTQ terminology and a member of the Transgender Journalists Association. I am available for sensitivity reads and other specialized editing tasks related to gender identity and sexuality.

In my free time, I take my cat Anderson on walks. Your support means I can buy him more Churu snacks.
